Does Art Evolutions Dance School hold a concert for students?
Yes, we have an annual end of year concert held at the end of November or beginning of December. It's held at the George Jenkins Theatre.
What age can my child start classes?
We accept students from 2 years and up, including adults.
Is the first lesson free?
Yes! You or your child can attend the first lesson for free as a trial class to help determine if this is the right school for you. Contact us to arrange a trial lesson.
What should students wear to class?
For the first class students are permitted to wear clothes that they can move in easily e.g. leggings and a t-shirt and bare feet. All other students are expected to wear correct uniform to class. Click here for more information.

Am I allowed to view my child's class?
We have found that it is much more beneficial for the students in the class to not have adults watching. However, parents of children participating in a free trial may observe the class. This will depend on any Covid-19 restrictions.
How do I enrol?
Click here to access the online enrolment form. A payment of $30 is required to secure you/your child’s enrolment in the class.
Can I enrol during a term?
Students can enrol any time of the year.
Do you offer examinations?
Students are able to participate in examinations with the Australia Academy of Theatrical and Ballet Dancing Inc. in the styles of ballet, tap, theatrical and jazz. Examinations are not compulsory but highly recommended.
Can students compete in competitions?
Competitions are an option for students who have reached a certain level in their dancing and examinations. They are not compulsory.
Do I have to sew costumes?
No sewing required! Costumes are hired at $31.90 per costume. A costume deposit of $44 is due in the beginning of term 3 and the remainder will be due in November.
What should I bring to class?
Your dance shoes and correct uniform (including neat and tidy hair off the face) for all classes. Your water bottle, a smile and your enthusiasm.
